《典范英語》(6b-L9)教學設計 Survival Adventure Teaching aims Aims on knowledge Ss will be able to: read and understand the new words: survival kit, torch, a ball of string, plastic sheet, first aid box, wagon, stuck, wander off, trap, get it off, sniffed, bad-tempered, jaw, cruel, horrid, shelter, surrounded get the main idea of this story. Wilf took a tent round to Chip's house, and they wanted to practise survival skills. Biff took an umbrella to help them, but boys didn't like to take it. Then The magic took children back to a wood, and they met Amy and Fox who were lost in the wood. Then they helped each other to go through different dangers. Finally, the Indians helped them to find Amy's family and they went on to westward. The magic took the children home, and Wilf changed his attitude about Biff's umbrella. Aims on ability Ss will be able to know &understand: the plots of the story(what ,who, what dangers, where, how). read the story dramatically and fluently. feel the emotions of characters by reading. think critically and logically by discussing. 3.Aims on emotion Ss will be able to understand and learn: respect and care about wild nature. always try to find wise ways to deal with emergent situation. 4.Aims on teaching methods: TBLT:Ss will read the story with some certain Qs that will check their comprehension. 5.Aims on Ss’ thinking ability and quality Ss will be able to: a. think in a logical and wise way to solve problems. b. be encouraged by the pioneer spirit in the story.. Important points: Ss can understand and read the new words. Ss can read the story fluently and dramatically. Ss can understand the main idea of the story. Difficult points: Ss can understand and read the new words. Ss can expand the mind to think about more ways. 二、課時安排 每周不少于兩課時,1-2個課時完成一個故事。要求學生課前反復聽錄音跟讀。 三、教師要求 1. 教師課前須熟讀故事,了解故事內容。 2. 對于較難的單詞,教師可板書,并配合動作和表情幫助學生理解。 3. 全英文授課。 四、教學用具 多媒體設備、課件。 五、課堂教學基本步驟 1. 導入(Lead-in):觀看視頻,了解美國西進運動的背景,導入故事情景 通過播放視頻An Introduction to Westward Expansio
